156. Dreams: Bears

It's no secret among my friends that I like cute things like stuffed animals. They're soft, plush, and come in all shapes and sizes to cater to everyone's favourite animal, which is of course, the bear (no bias here).

Last night I had a weird dream where we went out driving at night and spotted a big mama bear with her cub while taking a midnight stroll. The mama bear was trying to hold the baby bear back as we were trying to book it back to the car. However, as we were putting in our seat belts and trying to start the car, we can see the baby bear just charging at us, leaving its mama behind. As we see this scene unfold in front of us, in disbelief, we whip out our  handy dandy magical spray that repels bears. As the baby cub continues to charge at the car, and somehow managed to jump high enough to make it through the window, which was all the way down for one odd reason or the other, we kept spraying the magical bear-repellent spray at it. However, the bear did not cease its super-animal-like powers and landed in my lap. But, it turned out that he wasn't a ferocious beast at all, but had somehow turned all fluffy and soft - just like a stuffed animal! He had all the soft and cuddly features of a stuffed animal, but without the dead eyes and fake fur that usually came with it. As I was about to wake up, I remember petting this cute cub in my dreams and just staring into its big, wide, cartoon-like eyes.

It was a weird, but somewhat pleasant dream.

On another note, the weather today was foggy, then somewhat sunny, then foggy again. I hope it'll clear up tomorrow. At most, I hope it won't rain at least.

69. Dreams: Fruit Contest

Before I forget the dream that I just had, I am going to write it down to share with you all. The setting seemed to be in some kind of stadium and around us were people from different clubs, promoting themselves. I remember the club that went before us was an all Korean (mostly girls) Tae Kwon Do club and they were doing some simply punches and just shouting their club names. After that it was us. I think there were four of us and we had no idea what we were going to do. But suddenly, who I assume is our leader, gave me pre-chopped fruits and handed the others, including himself, a flat basket with some rim. When we got out "on stage" (basically just in the middle of the stadium with people staring down), he told me to place the fruits on each of the three baskets. The first fruit was watermelon. So I just one-by-one placed a watermelon slice on each of the basket until I was out of it. Next were the pineapples slices. Then the blueberries. At this point, it was getting harder and harder for the basket to hold the fruits so the blueberries kept falling off. But, I guess that's the whole point of the "game", to see how many fruits a basket can hold, and the person with the most fruits on his or her basket wins the game. While I was placing the fruits, I remember feeling anxious, and thinking who in the world would be interested in watching a slow game like this? But, as I looked up, I was proven wrong, for many people had left their seats to gather around us for a better look. Then, realizing it was just a dream, I woke up.

65. Weekend Wonders #5

I haven't been blogging as much this week because I just have a lot on my hands. I have this To-Do List constantly hanging over my head and bothering me in my sleep, and I have a final exam coming up very, very, insanely soon. However, once that exam is over, I will be free. Yesterday, I went to get a haircut, scan in my artworks, and finally bought films for my Vivitar camera! I can't wait to try it out (after my final exam). I also studied for a while at the library, and did it again today when I got a ride. I was just about to finish up the notes for the final chapter when the library shooed us out. Oh well. After writing notes for the last chapter of the textbook, I realized that I should have done it throughout the whole textbook readings. Now, I totally regret it. I think I'll try to cram as many notes as I can before the exam of the chapters that I'm not too confident in. It's a good thing I took geography classes in both grade eleven and twelve, as well as in the first semester of the University so I already know the basic outline of some of the things we have to learn.

On a happier note, last night, after I uploaded some of my artworks onto Tumblr, I went to bed (after checking repeatedly for any new likes, re-blogs, or new followers), I had this crazy dream where I woke up and checked my Tumblr again and I had 70 new followers. Crazy, right? I guess your true desires come out in your dreams. But, when I checked just now, my total number of followers is just a sad goose egg accompanied by a stick (in other words, 10). Soon, I will get my hands on an amazing scanner and be able to scan my artwork like a boss. For now, I'll just have to settle and do the best with what the scanner at the library offers.

27. Dreams: Magical

I had a really weird, but somewhat of a magical dream. It reminded me of Harry Potter because of the sorcery-like things that happened in it.

I was being chased by someone, and someone close to me gave me a journal (I think it was a red leather bound journal with a string wrapped around it to keep it closed). The journal also came with a neat looking pen (somewhat like a feather pen). Apparently, the one that gave me this journal told me that instead of like a regular journal where events past were written, anything that is to be written down are events to come. So, if I wanted to fly to Island A, all I had to do was write "Today at noon, I flew to Island A." However, there was a catch - every time I used the journal's powers, I would lose a bit of my memory. Despite this however, because I didn't have any other magical powers, I had to use the journal, and tried it out and managed to escape from whoever was chasing me.

I found myself in a room that looked like a walk-in closet, sitting down in a circle with other people. I remember them talking about going somewhere and dressing up, and soon, everyone left with only a young girl left. But this young girl wasn't like any other young girl: she was small like a baby, but could walk. But, ultimately, she was small. So, I just carried her instead in my arms and we left downstairs into a fancy-looking restaurant.

However, because I used the journal's powers, I forgot that I was being chased by someone. Nevertheless, I knew that someone was chasing me, and I knew that I was suppose to have forgotten it. It seemed like I was all omniscient-like, being able to see everything objectively from a third person view. Because of this feeling, I jumped onto a boat with the little girl, and we sped off. It was at this time, the person that was chasing me appeared, suddenly jumping out of nowhere like a ninja.

And then I woke up.

25. Dreams: Weird

This past week, I've been getting some weird dreams. But since they are dreams, I tend to forget about them pretty quickly. But last night was somewhat of a cute, weird dream. Basically, we have some wild rabbits living at my house (like under the trees or somewhere), and sometimes they'll show up, and sometimes not. But, inside this dream, somehow one of them got inside the house, and I managed to trap it with a big pot. When my mom got home, I lifted the pot to show her and this rabbit was very still. It was still living, but very still - as if almost calm. It had two very pink paws, almost like a newborns, whereas the rest of the body was grey. Anyways, I lifted it up like how you would to a baby sitting up on your arms, and brought it over to my mom. Then I woke up. And now I want a real bunny.
